A Legacy of Giving
Van Horn Family Charitable Fund was established by former NBA player Keith Van Horn and his family with the purpose of giving back through promoting spiritual values, honoring human dignity, protecting our precious land and instilling the virtue of charity in the family.
The family has donated millions of dollars over several decades to charities across several funding areas such as human dignity and health, youth sports and land conservation.
The importance of giving and serving has been an important part of the Van Horn family for generations, with several family members working for non-profit charitable organizations and serving missions throughout the world. Furthermore, it is the hope that through The Van Horn Family Charitable Fund and personal mission work that future generations of the family will continue to serve and share all that they have been blessed with.
About Keith Van Horn
After a standout collegiate career as an All-American at the University of Utah, Keith Van Horn went on to play 10 seasons in the National Basketball Association, competing in two NBA Finals and establishing himself as one of the league’s premier forwards. Following his professional basketball career, Keith successfully transitioned into the business world, where he founded, developed, and sold multiple companies while building a diverse portfolio of entrepreneurial ventures. His passion for service also led him to found and dedicate nearly a decade as a volunteer Non-Profit Executive Director at Premier Basketball Club, helping guide and mentor the next generation through youth sports and community initiatives.
Today, Keith serves as the Managing Partner of VHRE Properties and Branson Shores Resort, where he oversees strategic investments and development opportunities. In addition, he leads the charitable vision and giving decisions of the The Van Horn Family Charitable Fund, a philanthropic initiative focused on promoting spiritual values, honoring human dignity, supporting health and youth development programs, and protecting natural lands for future generations. Keith and his family reside in Colorado, where he enjoys spending time outdoors fly fishing, boating, and hunting, as well as traveling, listening to music, and appreciating a good glass of bourbon.
